Welcome to our second Newsletter for 2005, keeping you up-to-date on eHound developments, as well as bringing you insights into the latest news in mobile marketing and wireless location services.

eHound Extends Service Offering - Suburb Queries & Multiple Channels

Based on the extremely positive response we have received in 2005, eHound is in the process of extending both the depth and breadth of its service.

In the New Year eHound will be able to offer mobile consumers the ability to submit suburb and street level SMS queries, in addition to the current postcode-based functionality. This will improve response rates (as some consumers are more familar with their suburb name) and permit our clients to offer their customers more accurate search results. It will also open up opportunities to deliver additional location-specific information, including ATM?s, service station and even up-to-the-minute public transport timetable information.

Together with our alliance partners MultiMap and Inference Communications we are also extending eHound into an integrated customer contact platform, capable of delivering store location information across SMS, Internet and voice channels. Your customers will be able to choose the communication channel that suits them, 24x7 and all of these channels will be served by eHound's unique web-based reports - allowing you to better monitor customer contact and gauge the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

Optus Launches 3G Mobile Mapping Service

eHound?s mapping partner, the global software provider Multimap, has recently been appointed as the exclusive provider of mobile mapping services on the new Optus 3G network.

Commenting on the appointment, Chris Warwick, Multimap Australasia MD said: ?We have been providing web-based store locators to eHound clients such as Bottlemart for some time now, and look forward to partnering with eHound as their SMS service evolves to take advantage of the possibilities provided by third generation mobile networks, including maps and driving directions.?

Ninemsn Acquires 5th Finger

In another indication of the high level of interest in the mobile marketing space, eHound?s SMS gateway partner 5th Finger was recently purchased by Australia?s leading online publisher ? Ninemsn.

According to Martin Hoffman, Ninemsn CEO, the purchase of 5th Finger acknowledges a key trend in Australian media and technology. ?Convergence is real for media and marketers. The mobile phone has become a critical distribution tool for content, rich communications and advertising. Combining the knowledge of Ninemsn and 5th Finger will deliver a broad range of innovative and effective mobile marketing solutions for clients.?

I will be in contact in the new year, but in the meantime would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a successful 2006, and if you have any comments or questions, please don't hesitate to contact me directly at monique@ehound.com.au.

Kind Regards
